Fees and Insurance
At the Alleman Center, we want patients to feel informed about their dental health, and that includes the cost of care too. No one likes a surprise bill, so we are happy to discuss costs and insurance with patients before their visit.
How we calculate the cost of care:
Biomimetic dentistry treats teeth based on their symptoms and the causes of those symptoms, which means we can only give an exact cost of care during a visit once we have examined the tooth and removed any old restorations. The fees below are estimates, but we determine costs based on the following factors:
Number of teeth treated: if you have multiple teeth in the same quadrant that need treatment, we will plan for them to be treated during the same visit(s), which means fewer visits overall and saves you time and money. We often recommend treating a full quadrant if preventative treatment could benefit your situation to prevent potential emergency appointments in the future.
Severity of pathologies: we can assess symptoms, history and x-rays to get an idea of what may be causing your discomfort, but we need to remove an old restoration to understand the severity of the case. In complex cases, we will do everything we can to save your tooth and help it regain its natural strength and function, and the specialty materials and procedures involved can increase the cost of treatment.
Fees for services:
Six-month cleaning: $75
The fees below are estimates. We will provide an exact cost of care during your visit.
Small restoration per tooth (similar to traditional filling): $375-$800
Large restoration per tooth (similar to traditional crown): $900-$1,800
Quadrant restoration (three to six teeth): up to $900-$7,000
Full-mouth treatments are diagnosed on a case-by-case basis. We generally still work on one quadrant at a time, but we can provide you with a timeline and cost estimate during your initial appointment.
Insurance reimbursement
While we do not bill insurance companies directly, we work with you to have your insurance help cover the costs of your biomimetic treatment. Notify us before your appointment if you would like to use your insurance. Patient Care Coordinator, Sheila, will help you gather and fill out the documents you need to request reimbursement from your insurance provider.
Flexible payments
We offer split payments for patients who would like to pay for their treatment in installments. Ask about flexible payment options when scheduling your appointment.
Offering our patients the highest quality care is our number one priority. Biomimetic dentistry provides patients with restorations that are asymptomatic and last years, if not decades, longer than traditional restorations without damaging their healthy tooth structure. We believe this level of care should be available to all patients.
